Job Description:
Join Sysco, a global leader in food product distribution, as an
Out Bound Selector and become a pivotal part of our dynamic
warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for
efficiently and accurately selecting and staging outbound
truckloads of food products for our diverse client base spanning
restaurants, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring timely, correct
deliveries to our customers, maintaining the highest standards of
food safety and quality control in line with Sysco's commitment to
excellent service. Accurately select products based on customer
orders using voice picking technology and electronic pallet jacks
or forklifts. Ensure outbound shipments are accurately staged and
secured, ready for transport. Inspect product loads for accuracy,
and manage inventory to ensure that the correct products are ready
for delivery. Adhere to safety and handling procedures and comply
with OSHA regulations. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and
forklifts safely and efficiently. Assist in maintaining a clean and
safe warehouse environment. Work cooperatively with other warehouse
team members to optimize processes. Ability to operate warehouse
machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts. Proficient in
using technology for inventory management. Strong attention to
detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills. Physical
stamina and strength to handle heavy lifting. Medical Insurance
