Job Description Job Description BGI Landscape & Grounds is
hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator to help keep our
office running smoothly and accurately behind the scenes. This role
is a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable,
comfortable with numbers, and confident juggling bookkeeping,
payroll support, timesheets, and employee paperwork. If you have
QuickBooks experience and like bringing order to fast-moving
environments, we’d love to talk. This role is part-time today, with
the potential to grow into a full-time position over time. What
Success Looks Like - In this role, you will help us: - Keep bills
entered, organized, and paid on time - Support accurate payroll by
collecting and reviewing hours and timesheets - Maintain clean
employee records and paperwork - Help the office stay organized,
responsive, and reliable - Support day-to-day administrative
workflows without things slipping through the cracks Key
Responsibilities - Enter and manage bills, invoices, and other
bookkeeping records - Assist with accounts payable and vendor
paperwork - Review timesheets for completeness and accuracy -
Compile hours and support payroll processing - Help maintain
employee files, onboarding paperwork, and related documentation -
Support office organization, filing, and administrative follow-up -
Work inside QuickBooks and other company systems as needed -
Communicate clearly with leadership and team members when
information is missing or needs correction What We’re Looking For -
Experience with QuickBooks - Prior experience in bookkeeping,
payroll support, office administration, or a similar role - Strong
attention to detail and follow-through - Ability to handle
confidential employee and financial information professionally -
Strong organizational and communication skills - Comfortable
working independently and keeping multiple tasks moving - Reliable,
punctual, and professional Bonus Points If You Have - Experience
with ADP Workforce Now - Experience handling employee paperwork or
onboarding documents - Experience supporting a construction,
service, or landscaping business - Confidence working with time
tracking systems and job-coded labor hours Who You Are You’re the
kind of person who: - Notices missing details before they become
problems - Follows through without needing constant reminders -
Communicates clearly and professionally - Enjoys creating structure
and keeping things on track - Can work with both numbers and people
