3/24/24: $35.76/hourThe Electro Mechanical Technician (EMT) is a
member of the plant maintenance team that supports factory
operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing
electrical and mechanical equipment.--Main Responsibilities:Perform
electrical and mechanical system preventative maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair in a team environmentFollow Food
Factory Good Management Practices (GMP's) to guarantee food
safetyWork safely following all required safe practices including
LOTO, PPE, risk predictions, and work permitsUtilize SAP Plant
Maintenance CMMS system to document activities such as planned
work, repair, and future work neededProactively utilize available
resources for troubleshooting and repair (operators, maintenance
team, electrical prints, manuals, OEM website resources)Properly
and safely utilize tools and diagnostic equipmentPerform all work
in a professional and workman like mannerIdentify parts required
for repairs utilizing available resources (bills of material, parts
lists, manuals, mechanical assembly drawings, etc.)Perform machine
adjustments as required to support operationsExamples of commonly
encountered electrical devices and systems include switchgear and
power distribution devices, MCC's, safety circuits, disconnects,
fuses, PLC automation, motors, motor starters, relays, circuit
breakers, VFD's, photo eyes, prox switches, relays, motor starters,
temperature probes, level sensors, flow meters, control valves and
moreParticipate in and support the Ferrero Operational Excellence
systemPerform additional duties as required--Who we are looking
for:Associates degree, maintenance related certificate, or
equivalent experience in Electrical Maintenance or Industrial
Automation field3 years of prior experience as an
Electrical--Mechanical Technician---OR- 2-year technical degree in
Electrical Maintenance or Industrial Automation AND 1 year of prior
experience as Electrical Mechanical TechnicianPrior work experience
must include: diagnostic troubleshooting, repairing and replacing
defective parts, adjusting machinery, and modifying units to meet
proper operating specifications--Must be able to work overtime when
requiredAble to work with computers (navigating systems, recording
information, locating information necessary to perform the job)Able
to use basic mathematical skills in order to perform machine and
mechanical systems maintenance, calibrations, and repairsWorking
knowledge in the area of pipefitting and riggingBasic knowledge of
steam distribution systems and principlesWorking knowledge of
hydraulic and pneumatic principlesAdvanced--understanding of
industrial electricity including motor basics and controlsAdvanced
knowledge of industrial automation and PLC based
controlsCommunication skillsCritical thinking skills#FNAHow to be
