Do you like to build and troubleshoot workstation hardware for the fun of it? If so, you may be the exact person we are looking for! The Enterprise Technology Department is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Analyst to work on our Client Hardware team. This team is responsible for selecting and supporting the Windows based workstation hardware and peripherals used across the Enterprise. We leverage Agile practices and seek to understand and delight our customers. This is the location of State Farm's Corporate Headquarters and is 2 1/2 hours from Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. Bloomington is a mid-size community; an average 15 minute rush hour commute is a welcome change for those who have fought rush hour traffic in the city. The community is very active and is home to multiple universities including Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University.*At this time, most of our employees are working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety of our employees is priority at State Farm. Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely. Once State Farm determines it is safe for employees to return to our offices, candidates will be required to relocate and work in the above listed location.*Qualifications:We Are Seeking Candidates With:

• 5+ years of experience building, upgrading and troubleshooting PCs
• 3+ years of scripting experience with a focus on PowerShell or Python
• Demonstrated learning agility and the desire for continuous growth inside and outside of current role
• Ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service
• Experience with remote monitoring and performance management of workstation hardware
• Knowledge of various computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, monitors, headsets etc. and their associated connection types/standards
• Ability to work independently and drive resolution on complex issues spanning multiple teams
• Strong oral and written communication skillsAdditional Skills:
  • Previous experience with Dell, HP and Microsoft hardware
  • Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SQL administration experience
  • Experience configuring and deploying Windows devices using SCCM/MEMCM, including driver management
  • Experience configuring Windows devices using Group Policy, including understanding and applying modern device power management modes
  • Experience with modern security components/controls in Windows, such as the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), SecureBoot, SecureGuard
  • Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Intune
  • Demonstrated ability to perform industry research and develop recommendations for large scale implementations of workstation hardware
