Join us, and you could be one of them.About the Role:The Bloomington Ferrero plant is building a brand-new Kinder Bueno Plant and we're looking for a Quality Specialist Supervisor to lead this new and exciting venture! This will be the largest Kinder Bueno production line in the Ferrero Global Group. As a Quality Specialist Supervisor, you will manage the production unit in all activities surrounding Quality & Food Safety Systems. The Quality Specialist Supervisor will be a key function during the start up of the Kinder Bueno production line.--Main Responsibilities:Guarantees production unit operates in a manner respecting regulatory compliance and Food Safety and Quality standards determined by Ferrero Central Quality Department.Responsible for the issuance, distribution and updating of required quality instructions and forms in relation to the assigned production line.Regularly supervises activities performed by operators on the production line to ensure quality standards are being followed.Provides support to the production department in case of anomalies identified along the production process.Generates ideas for continuous improvement and helps implement related actions.Contributes to employee's training in order to assure the achievement of Food Safety and Quality objectives.Verifies the production Food Safety and Quality checks and verifications work properly and promptly intervenes to resolve issues.Responsible for completing detailed risk assessments in relation to Food Safety and Quality topics which arise in the production lines.Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Product Quality Specialists.Who we are looking for:Bachelor's Degree required in related field, such as Food Safety, Food Science, Microbiology, or Food Chemistry3+ years of relevant work experienceExperience in a food manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Production Quality specifications, PRP, oPRP, CCP'sKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, manufacturing processes and quality controlKnowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and FDA regulatory complianceInternal auditing experienceAbility to conduct presentations and training sessionsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong communication skills in a multi-cultural environmentHow to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
