This position will be assigned to work out of our home office in
Bloomington, IL, our Southern Office in the Atlanta, GA area
(Alpharetta), or remotely.
As an Instructional Designer within Agency Training Design at
COUNTRY Financial, you will follow the ADDIE model conducting
analysis that leads to the design and development of solutions to
meet the needs of our Agency audiences. This individual will
contribute to training for sales, product and system learning needs
at COUNTRY Financial. Knowledge and proficiency building training
for multiple delivery mediums including virtual, web based and
classroom using tools such as Articulate Storyline and the Adobe
Creative Suite Products is required. Scope of work may include
maintaining new rep curriculum as well as building solutions to
support enterprise efforts and/or just-in-time learning.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are currently
limiting the number of employees in our offices. This position will
begin working in a remote capacity and will be expected to return
to the assigned office location following a broader return to work
How does an Instructional Designer make an impact?
- Identifies learning objectives and develops course content,
teaching methods, and instructional procedures.
- Continuously evaluates progress to ensure training activities
are teaching representatives the characteristics and applications
of company products and procedures, and how to effectively sell
products and follow procedures.
- Oversees the development of materials to be utilized in the
field to familiarize field sales and leadership with new products,
procedures, and corporate initiatives.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Ability to work with several different business areas across an
organization to develop training solutions.
- Experience building courses in Articulate Storyline.
- Experience building videos in Camtasia and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience building Facilitator Guides in Adobe In Design.
- Has some insurance/financial industry knowledge.
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of
training, design, education, or related experience (or the
equivalent, such as 7 years of experience or Master's degree and 3
years of experience).
