Job Description:

At COUNTRY Financial, our Senior Talent Development Specialist applies best practices in learning and talent management to improve individual / team development and organizational effectiveness for COUNTRY Financial and the Family of Companies. Plans, designs, develops and executes leadership development pipeline, employee development and other organization development processes and programs in alignment with organizational objectives and priorities. Consults with all levels of management to assess learning and talent development needs and design and develop appropriate learning, development and talent management solutions. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing one or more corporate-wide talent development programs or processes.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are currently limiting the number of employees in our offices. This position will begin working in a remote capacity and will be expected to return to the assigned office location following a broader return to work announcement.

How does a Senior Talent Development Specialist make an impact?

  • Consults with enterprise leaders to identify opportunities to improve individual and organizational performance.
  • Designs and delivers programs, services and processes to improve individual and organizational performance.
  • Presents recommendations and proposals; delivers presentations and facilitates learning programs.

Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Demonstrates excellent instructional design skills, including experience with instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, performance support, distance learning and blended learning.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills, including experience with developing comprehensive project plans and leading project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with program development and implementation in the areas of employee development andleadership development.
  • Demonstrates strong written communication skills, including proposal development, needs analysis, facilitator guide development and participant materials design.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including clear and concise oral communication and the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience implementing a major process in a talent management system.
  • Typically requires: Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of organizational development (OD), learning and development or organizational effectiveness experience, or Master's degree and at least 3 years of organizational development (OD), learning and development or organizational effectiveness experience, or at least 7 years of organizational development (OD), learning and development or organizational effectiveness experience.
  • This position is part of a job family. Placement will be determined by skills and qualifications of the candidate.
