Sysco, a global leader in the distribution of food products, is seeking a dedicated Local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our fleet. In this role, you will be integral to our mission of marketing and distributing quality food and related products to a diverse range of customers such as restaurants, hospitals, and schools. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport food products and related items to our customers on assigned routes in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all goods are stowed securely and in compliance with safety standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working order. Adhere to all applicable traffic and transportation laws, maintaining a safe driving record. Collect and verify delivery instructions from the distribution center, and carefully plan driving routes to ensure timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, acting as a positive representative of Sysco in all interactions. Complete documentation such as logs, mileage reports, and trip reports as well as maintain records required for compliance. Proficiency in operating GPS devices and other types of transportation technology. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to maneuver and manage physical aspects of cargo loading/unloading. Effective communication skills for interacting with warehouse staff and customers. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A). A clean driving record. DOT medical certification.
