Carle Health is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Emergency Services team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient medical attention to individuals in emergency situations, ensuring the highest level of care. You will operate within an innovative and supportive environment that integrates advanced medical treatment with a focus on community welfare and improved patient outcomes. Respond to emergency calls rapidly and assess patient needs. Perform medical services such as administering oxygen, CPR, and basic first aid. Safely transport patients to medical facilities. Maintain accurate patient records and incident reports. Ensure that emergency equipment is ready for use at all times. Assist in patient care within hospital settings under medical supervision. Proficient in emergency response care standards. Strong decision-making and prioritization skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain calm in stressful situations. Medical Insurance Valid EMT certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). CPR certification required.
