Description: The Clinical Resource Unit is committed to providing exceptional care through strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. The nursing staff in the unit provides specialized medical and nursing care to various inpatient units. Medical diagnoses require expertise in areas such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, strokes, cancer, and post-surgical care. The environment is fast-paced, exciting, and always evolving. Responsibilities include performing required duties specific to the scope of service. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation of nursing care to assure integration of information for the healthcare team. Initial assessments upon patient admission and developing appropriate care plans are essential. Plans of care must be modified based on continuous evaluation of patient needs.
