Registered Nurse (RN) | Rehab Location: Peoria, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,330 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61605! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active IL license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Strong Neuro Skills Description: The unit consists of 29 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 5:1 during the day shift and 6:1 during the night shift. Common diagnoses include neuro issues, neurosurgery, amputations, multi-trauma, cardiac conditions, and complex medical cases. Nurses are required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehabilitation. There are house supervisors available; no charge nurses are present. Nurse aides are part of the team with a ratio of 1:9 or 1:10. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and pulmonary or cardiac rehabilitation services are provided. Respiratory therapy equipment used includes CPAP and BiPAP, primarily for sleep apnea. Shifts run from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Every other weekend and holiday rotations are required. Floating to other units such as LTAC or med-surg may occur, but floating to HAU requires training. Scrubs of any color are acceptable, but t-shirts are only permitted with prior approval. Orientation consists of a class component followed by time with a preceptor, focusing on specific documentation requirements. The charting system used is EPIC.
