to find a qualified OR RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61636! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CMH Surgery Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, M-F,
0700-1730 plus rotating call Experience: Minimum three (3) years of
relevant nursing experience License: Illinois state RN License in
good standing Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have: ASN Description: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a
professional caregiver. The RN assumes responsibility for a group
of patients for a designated time frame. The RN provides care to
these patients utilizing the nursing process. The RN implements
procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
The RN maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing
care provided. This documentation assures the integration of
information for use by the healthcare team. The RN completes
initial assessments upon patient admission. The RN develops
appropriate plans of care in accordance with unit standards. Plans
of care are based on patient and family needs. The RN implements
the plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care
procedures. The plan of care is modified based on continuous
evaluation. The RN takes responsibility for patient and employee
safety. This includes reporting and/or correcting safety hazards
and incidents. The RN communicates with others directly and in
private when necessary to resolve issues. The RN offers
constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of
peers. The RN confers with colleagues to expand their knowledge
base. The RN identifies their own learning needs and takes
initiative to begin an appropriate solution. The RN fulfills all
