Job Description ADN Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Pre/Post Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pre/Post Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Available 4x10 s or 5x 8s days same rate , Description: Additional Information: Position Description: 1.General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Admission and Recovery of all Cardiac and Angio patients, as well as, outpatient TEE and or Cardioversion procedures completed in the Cath lab Recovery Room. 2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Epic EMR, Pyxis 3.Required skills and minimum years of experience. Registered RN with minimum 2-3 years experience4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS, ACLS certifications5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Will work with a second RN in the recovery room, no call or weekends required.6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) No floating to other depts.7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Cath lab recovery is a 5 bay recovery area for all cath, angio outpatients.8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1RN : 2-3 patients 9.Dress Code: Procedural scrubs provided10.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Unit specific training/orientation with a designated unit preceptor.Additional Comments:Comments: Facility Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift; Nonbillable Orientation hours: 12; Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation.
