$5,000.00 Sign on bonus - External onlyThe Cardiac Special Procedures Tech provides competent, proficient technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cathertization procedures, and during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, implementing procedural standards and protocols.Performs diagnostic and interventional Cardiovascular, Neurovascular, Interventional Radiology, and Peripheral Vascular procedures.Works with Cardiologists, Radiologists, and Surgeons functioning as a scrub tech/assistant while maintaining aseptic technique and a sterile field.Performs related radiographic/fluoroscopic techniques to demonstrate catheter location, position, and document findings while helping the physician to position, manipulate and prepare catheters and guide wires as needed during the procedures.Monitors patients and operates hemodynamic monitor, documents procedures in EPIC.Responsible for maintaining imaging equipment and workplace environment including maintaining supply inventories and orderliness of work area. Recognizes malfunctions and service needs and reports service needs in a timely manner.Maintains competency on equipment and procedures necessary to provide exceptional patient care. Interacts with patients, physicians and co-workers in a professional manner.
