Sr. DIRECTOR or VP OF SALES Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:Under the direction of the US General Manager, the Sr. Director or VP of Sales leads, manages, and coaches the ALFAPARF Milano Regional Sales Managers, Territory Managers Education and Direct Sales teams. By partnering with our professional salon distribution network and direct sales teams, this position is responsible for growing all account sales and services through all channels by consistent budgeting, process creation, account planning and performance measuring. The ideal candidate will have experience building and leading teams and sales processes for both the distribution and direct to salon channels. Additionally, he or she will have a sharp understanding of branding concepts and will partner and build cross-functional relationships with all US Branch departments but also corporate functions in Italy including marketing, operations and creative arts. Essential Job Responsibilities:Execute the strategic sales direction by meeting or exceeding the sales objectives and strategic initiatives for the US and Canadian markets.Increase sales by assuring Regional Sales Managers, Direct Sales Managers, Business Development Managers and Educators are trained and branded in line with the company's brand equity and product know-how.Through a detailed account planning process, ensures both existing and new accounts meet company branding standards and performance expectations for ongoing sales growth.Working with the marketing team, establish best of practice approach to working distributor professional only stores with education and in-store retail activities.Working with our distribution partners, service our existing accounts with attention and enable their salon growth using our products.Implement and continue to evolve territory expansion plans in both channels to grow the brand and place new color and care accounts.Provide leadership and mentorship through direction, motivation, coaching, skill development, product knowledge, industry knowledge, competitive knowledge, performance management, sales forecasting and budget management.Directs the Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers efforts to implement the brand plan and sales promotional programs while ensuring coordination with associated cross functional activities within marketing, education and operations.Manage the performance of the Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers by monitoring distributor and direct performance including distributor store sales performance, key salon sales performance, selling skill enhancement, product knowledge levels, effectiveness of account support activities, and organizational management.Execute monthly KPI review process for all sales team members.Works with tactical marketing to prepare an annual brand plan that includes executable promotional calendar in accordance with the brand planning process.Monitor the performance of Regional Managers and Territory Managers in the execution of the regional education seminars from basic set up to achievement of sales goals.Create, conduct, and complete a Region Business Plan on a bi-annual basis.Working with marketing to implement key tools such as a state of the art CRM system.Work within a budget and meet expense targets on a monthly basis. Required Skills:Must have strategic mindset to analyze changing landscape.A passion for beauty or fashion industry.Excellent communication skills in written, oral, and presentation formats.Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects.Exceptional project management, organization and communication skills.Ability to travel to current and potential customer meetings and events including international travel.Distinct desire to grow and be challenged as a leader and business executive.
