Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services for our Bloomington, IL facility. **Please note to be considered for a position you must attach a resume, complete the application, and answer all screening questions. Responsibilities Management position to work as a team member to provide strategic direction, supervision, and oversight for assigned substance use disorders and mental health outpatient services. Train and evaluate staff and interns, provide for staff development, and participate in program development activities to improve services to consumers and the community. Coordinate development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of services according to all governing policies and procedures. Assist with grant writing and new project development. Implement new projects. Coordinate, develop, and expand referral sources. Set an example for and reinforce evidence-based practices, including but not limited to, the recovery philosophy utilizing the elements of hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness, harm reduction, and supported employment, and ensure treatment is provided in a trauma informed care environment. Create and maintain linkages in the community that will facilitate client s successful transition into the community (i.e. employment, housing, etc. ), and serve as a liaison with community service providers. Assist in budget planning and development, and provide leadership to ensure the financial stability of assigned treatment programs. Collaborate in the design and implementation of program-level information reporting systems that provide accurate, timely, and critical information regarding service delivery and the achievement of organizational and clinical objectives, and provide ongoing analysis and review of key program and agency-level data. Serve on the Leadership Council and Central Region Leadership/Management Committee, as well as interagency collaboration committees. Provide clinical supervision and consultation to associate directors, coordinators, supervisors, and staff. Promote Chestnut s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut s behavioral standards for customer service. Qualifications Position requires a master's degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field. Five (5) years of clinical experience with mental health and substance use disorders required, as well as supervisory and administrative experience. Illinois licensure of LCSW or LCPC preferred. Satisfactory completion of Chestnut s background checking process.
