Job Description:
By joining the Morris Packaging team, you will become part of
one of the most exciting teams in the packaging industry. This
position will be based out of Morris Packaging's Bloomington, IL
office although a remote location or hybrid status will be
considered for the right candidate.Account managers at Morris
Packaging performs a variety of tasks relying on extensive
experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Account
Managers are primarily responsible for developing long-term
relationships with a portfolio of clients while being a liaison
between customers and cross-functional internal teams. This
position will manage and develop client accounts to initiate
favorable relationships with clients. Familiarity with a variety of
the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is pertinent.
Account managers will assist with client complaints, collecting and
analyzing data, as they work toward improving the overall customer
experience.Essential Functions:Be the primary point of contact and
build long-term, trusted relationships with key accounts.Ensure the
timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to
customer needs and objectives.Clearly communicate the progress of
monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal teams.Forecast, track,
maintain, and improve accounts financial and supply chain metrics.
(Including but not limited to inventory levels, trading terms,
incentive schemes, lead times, risk management, etc )Enhance
department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities
to add value to job accomplishments.Process new orders in
Manufacturing ERP system.Monitor and analyze customer's usage of
product.Follow up on orders to ensure they are processed, shipped,
and delivered as requested by customer.Responsible for working with
the sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing
current clients.Other duties as assigned.Competencies:Business

responsibilities.Work Environment: This job operates in a
professional office environment, with occasional time spent on the
manufacturing floor. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing
cabinets.Physical Demands: The physical demands here are
representative of those that must be met by employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk and hear. Perform tasks requiring manual
dexterity. Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of
office supplies. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, fingers,
with the ability to feel and reach with hands and arms.Position
Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and
hours of work vary, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and
weekend work will be required as job duties demand.Travel: Required
once a month. If the selected candidate is outside of Bloomington,
IL area, it will be required to be on site for a period of 2 months
for training purposes.Required Education and Experience:Proven
account management or other relevant experience.Bachelor's degree
in appropriate field of study and at least 10 years of experience
in the field or in a related field.Demonstrate ability to
communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all
levels of the organization, including executive and C
level.Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on
customer needs.Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
while paying strict attention to detail.Excellent listening,
negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Self-motivated
and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.Natural
relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and
maturity.Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and time and
project management skill. Always looking to improve inefficient
processes.Expert in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Preferably
