Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe National Sales Manager will work closely with
the Franmar management team, in-house Customer Service group, and
(external) manufacturers' representatives to grow the Franmar line
of quality products. The National Sales Manager will build and
maintain positive relationships by serving as the principal contact
with corporate level buyers, merchandisers and manufacturers'
reps.Responsibilities include but not limited to:-Represent Franmar
to sell our green, safer solvent alternatives that really work,
while they protect users and the environment (e.g., safer but
effective paint removers, mastic and other adhesive removers,
products for cleaning asphalt, etc. Much more effective than our
"safe" competition). Our products are sold for use by DIY consumers
and in various industries for professional use.-Develop sales
strategies, goals and objectives with guidance from the owner and
General Manager-Monitor manufacturers reps to hit or exceed
contractual obligations having to do with sales growth by providing
assistance and training as needed.-Stay in contact with established
accounts to maintain the relationship and build sales-Provide
direction and support for sales to large corporate buyers for
retail resellers-Provide insight and assistance in determining the
need for appropriate number of manufacturers' representatives
throughout the U.S. to effectively promote Franmar products.-Work
with the owner and General Manager to create product and
promotional programs.-Attend trade shows as needed to represent
Franmar and support Franmar's position in the marketplace.-Using
in-house software, produce and manage timely sales reports
identifying positive and negative movement.-Provide assistance in
determining best allocation of marketing and advertising
budgets.Requirements of ideal candidate will require extensive
sales experience along with:-3 to 5 years of outside sales
experience with successful growth history-1 to 2 years experience
managing sales staff-experience in developing effective sales
growth strategies-bachelors degree in a business related field or
equivalent work experience-outstanding interpersonal skills and
ability to build relationships-strong time management
skills-ability to travel, including representing Franmar at trade
shows along with meeting and assisting manufacturers'
representatives-valid drivers license with no insurance
restrictions-experience with leading engaging webinars and online
presentations a plus, and may likely reduce the need for
travelWages and benefits:-Salary and commissions-$70,000 to
$100,000 or more possible-health insurance-vacation and holiday
time-company contributed SIMPLE IRACOVID PrecautionsAll office
staff are fully vaccinated, desks are more than 6 ft apart, HEPA
filters are running to filter microbes, and the few visitors are
asked to wear a mask.
