To meet the continued demand for our dental materials in the USA, we are currently hiring a Strategic Account Manager for the Midwestern United States.Candidates should reside in the following Markets:ChicagoDetroitMilwaukeeMinneapolisClevelandColumbus--Job DescriptionThe Strategic Account Manager is responsible for planning and executing a customized sales strategy for their unique segment of DSO accounts including emerging group accounts, mid-market accounts, and community & federal health accounts.--This position is deeply knowledgeable in the DSO segment and builds and maintains close relationships with the "C Suite", Clinical Directors, and our distribution partners.--The Strategic Account Manager is always available to their clients, contacting them on a regular basis, participating in and hosting local events, training and educating key personnel, and always working to better understand the clinical and business needs of our customers. The Strategic Account Manager will be supported by--the territory reps and regional manager in your territory.--You will also participate in industry trade shows.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesigns and executes customized sales strategies, in conjunction with the Director of Strategic Markets, aimed at their segment of DSO accountsWorks closely with local VOCO sales team and leadership to openly discuss on-boarding strategies, competitive landscape by account, key challenges and successesRemains knowledgeable about personnel changes in DSO accounts and is always aware of key contactsMaintains close relationships and collaborates with key distribution personnelManages territory opportunity pipeline and reviews with local regional manger and Director of Strategic Markets on a monthly basisUtilizes SalesForce on a daily and weekly basis to report sales call activity, updates and follow ups, and manage growth opportunities in existing accountsProvides quality product training to new customers and new staff in existing accountsMeets annually with key accounts to review PY business and negotiate or re-negotiate contractsPlans and coordinates Continuing Education eventsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in outside sales, dental sales preferred but not requiredAbility to work independentlySelf-StarterAbility to execute and follow through a sales planPlanning and organizational skillsA positive, professional, and proactive attitudeLeadership and management skillsAdept at building trust and credibilityCompetitive, but still works well with teams with strong motivational skillsStrong problem solving and strategic planning skillsStrong negotiation skillsThis challenging position requires a defined personality.
