Engineer The manufacturing engineer will be responsible for
developing, optimizing, and support assembly processes. This role
ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective assembly operations
while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with
engineering specifications. Process development and optimization
Design, implement, and improve assembly processes Develop standard
work instructions and ensure adherence to safety and quality
standards Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process
improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles Reduce
cycle time, improve ergonomics, and minimize waste in assembly
operations Technical support Provide engineering support to
production teams for troubleshooting assembly issues Collaborate
with design engineering to resolve manufacturability concerns
Tooling & Equipment Specify and procure assembly tooling, fixtures,
and equipment Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of assembly
tools Quality & Compliance Monitor assembly quality metrics and
implement corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with ISO
standards and quality Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate
process documentation, including PFMEA, controls plans and work
instructions Prepare reports on process performance and improvement
initiatives Qualifications: Education- Bachelors degree in
engineering 2 years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably
assembly operations strong knowledge of assembly processes and Lean
Manufacturing principles Excellent problem-solving and analytical
skills Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
abilities Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position
based out of Peoria, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $31.00 - $55.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length
of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to
