Title: Process Engineer
Location: Bloomington, IL
Shift: M-F, 8:00 - 4:00 P.M (hours may vary)
Compensation: $70,000 - $105,000
Benefits: Company offers an excellent benefits package including

Travel: Less than 10%
The company is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join
their team. The Process Engineer plays a critical role in
processing customer documentation for quotations, creating and
maintaining standards, new product introduction, process
improvement, design for manufacturing, and providing technical
support to suppliers, customers, and internal team members.
The day-to-day duties of the Process Engineer include:
--- Reviewing customer documentation for quotations, clarifying
questions, and obtaining necessary documentation.
--- Supporting material estimation, labor estimation, and labor
--- Assessing tooling requirements and conducting special process
--- Creating and maintaining standards for material and labor.
--- Defining packaging methods for new product introductions.
--- Participating in supplier qualification and development for
components and sub-assemblies.
--- Reading and interpreting engineering/customer drawings,
specifications, and schematics.
--- Providing process and documentation in compliance with AS9100
--- Planning and preparing BOM structure, work instructions,
routers, and time standards within an ERP framework.
--- Conducting production feasibility reviews and generating
--- Determining tooling requirements and conferring with suppliers
for product specifications and purchases.
--- Serving as an interface between production and quality,
ensuring a robust and defect-free production process.
--- Providing technical and analytical support to internal and
external customers and suppliers.
--- A 4-year degree in an engineering discipline from a college or
technical school, or three years of related experience.
--- Experience in electronics contract manufacturing environment,
process engineering, and PCB/SMT/PTH/Inspection/Test
equipment/processes is a plus.
--- Effective mentoring skills at all levels and the ability to
drive solutions to complex planning issues.
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer
--- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
--- Availability for up to 10% travel, including day and overnight
trips as required.
--- Collaborative and effective interpersonal skills, with the
ability to work well individually and in teams.
--- Understanding and utilization of continuous improvement
--- Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new
