much more. Expected salary range of $112,500 to $125,000, varies
based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that
includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position This
individual has functional responsibility for coordination of
station and corporate efforts and resources to implement the
Constellation Fire Protection Programs and corporate policies in
order to meet applicable codes, standard, regulatory requirements,
and commitments. Directly responsible for the oversight,
coordination and training of the station fire brigade. Primary
Duties and Accountabilities Responsible for implementation of
programs and processes related to fire protection (Control and
issuance of Hot Work Permits, Control and Issuance of fire barrier
impairment permits, Control and Issuance of Transient Combustible
Control permits, etc.) Provide functional direction and
assistance/information to station personnel, as required, on fire
protection related items such as surveillance, personnel training
and qualification, response and fire protection equipment. Ensure
performance of station fire brigade by preparing fire drill
scenarios, conducting and documenting drill performance, teaching
fire brigade training, ensuring fire brigade members are qualified.
Promote a working relationship with offsite Fire & EMS agencies.
Effectively communicate significant plant and personnel fire
protection issues (including Transient Combustible Control) to the
Operations Director. Foster open communications and collaboration
between all organization internal and external to the plant
including Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Nuclear Electric
Insurance Limited (NEIL) and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations
(INPO). Support and conduct required fire protection inspections
and audits including NRC Triennial Inspection, Annual NEIL Property
Loss Inspection, and NOS Fire Protection Inspection. Ensure
development of acceptable resolution to findings. Perform periodic
on-site evaluations of the effectiveness of fire protection related
administrative controls, emergency response capabilities,
surveillance testing and training at the station or offsite
training facilities. Investigate fires and fire reports at all
company nuclear stations. Develop Fire Event Reports for the
station, obtain approvals and submit to appropriate external
organizations. Review fire brigade performance in actual fires and
make recommendations for improvements. Perform other job
assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to
company policy, including but not limited to emergency response,
departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities
in positions outside the department. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience OR Current or
previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related
experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of related experience
OR High school diploma or GED and 6 years of related experience OR
Preferred Qualifications 6 years previous firefighting/prevention
experience which includes 3 years nuclear related experience
