Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide specialized services within K-12 settings across
multiple school locations in the Aurora, IL area. This role
supports classrooms serving students with Autism and Intellectual
Disabilities through structured learning environments. Key
responsibilities include: - Delivering speech and language therapy
to students across 3-4 self-contained classrooms within the
Structured Learning Environment (SLE) program - Collaborating with
multidisciplinary teams to assess and address individual student
needs - Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
focusing on communication and language development - Monitoring
progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to promote
student success Position details: - Duration: Immediate start
through approximately May 28, 2025 (end date varies by assignment)
- Hours: Full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) - Locations: Multiple
sites including Willowbrook High School (Villa Park), Addison Trail
High School (Addison), Maercker Intermediate School (Westmont), and
PrairieView Elementary School (Downers Grove) - Caseload: Each
classroom includes 6-8 students within self-contained classes
supporting autism and intellectual disabilities Qualifications: -
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech
Endorsement - Active Illinois Speech License - Certified Clinical
Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinically Fellowed Year (CFY)
candidates will be considered - Experience working with school-aged
children and structured learning environments is highly beneficial
