Marketing Business Analyst

As a Marketing Business Analyst, you'll support Marketing in
meeting their objectives by understanding the overall Marketing
Plan and providing thoughtful analysis to different parts of the
plan while keeping a strategic lens. Your recommendations will
drive direction and execution of the plan. You will present
recommendations to different layers of management and interact with
different areas throughout the organization.
In addition, this role will serve as the primary business analyst
as new projects come up and need researched, providing analysis,
vision of alignment to the plan (or not), and recommendations based
on your findings. You will serve as a stakeholder for projects as
needed to ensure Marketing objectives can/will be met.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our
corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
How does a Marketing Business Analyst make an impact?
Understands business change needs; assesses business impact of
those changes, capturing, analyzing and documenting requirements
and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with
Takes the lead in assisting with the business case, eliciting
requirements, translating and simplifying requirements, and use
requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process
change requests, and manage a project's scope, acceptance,
installation and deployment.
Clarifies, updates and improves the business processes impacted by
technology changes, and maps out the requirements for one or more
systems to support needs and processes.

Marketing knowledge - in-depth understanding of marketing
fundamentals and strategy including integrated marketing, customer
experience, marketing plans, and go-to-market.
Analysis - ability to ask the right questions to get to root causes
of issues while keeping strategic mindset. Ability to research,
analyze, and form recommendations that can be communicated to
different audiences effectively.
Solution Oriented - Ability drive to solutions, actively think
about next steps.
Presentation/speaking skills - concisely build recommendations and
speak to them (with confidence and ability to answer tough

business analysis, project management, information technology or
related experience (or equivalent, such as 4 -years of experience
or master's degree and no experience).
