At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance
system and you'll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental
housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Employees, contingent workers and visitors are no longer required to
show proof of vaccination to be on-site. Effective January 2023, Freddie Mac's hybrid work
arrangement is 3 days in the office (specifically Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).

Position Overview:

Freddie Mac has an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Professional to contribute to
the Enterprise Products Ops and Services team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual whose
primary function will be to provide system admin support for ALM and monitoring tools such as
(MicroFocus ALM/UFT, SauceLabs & Splunk) & drive increased user adoption through continuous
improvements within the toolset.

Responsibilities include :

Provide quality system admin support for ALM tools including metrics reporting to ensure
compliance and maintain best practices.

Manage upgrades and patch fixes of supported tools, and partner with other IT staff to
coordinate infrastructure maintenance and system migrations

Develop Ansible playbooks and modules.

Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME
level support.

Administer Splunk and Splunk Application for Enterprise Security (ES) log management

Develop automated scripts, post functions and triggers using Python, JAVA/.Net, Groovy, REST
API, VB to automate system admin functions and develop home grown utilities, tools and
integrations

Develop and maintain technical and user-facing documentation, training materials and standard
operating procedures and guides and conduct training sessions on the supported Tools and its
processes

Use Agile delivery practices to improve teams, quality, and reliability

Work with vendor support for the issues and resolving them in a timely manner without any
interruption to the users.

Understand applications from a technical architecture and business goals perspective to apply
DevOps best practices.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will engage with other team members, collaborate with our various stakeholders,
provide input, and advise on how to ensure successful outcomes to various customer requirements.
Execute, identify, implement will be key objectives that your position will provide to the team,
and organization. You possess automation, script development, reporting skills and champion
technology/tools that improve processes and provide efficiency on a fast-paced team in a changing
environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related

2-4 years of relevant experience: operational support and customer service

Working knowledge and coding experience - Python/JAVA and REST API

Experience with business tools (Windows, Office Professional, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)

Knowledge of application monitoring and event management tool, i.e., Splunk

Experience using Ansible for DevOps Development with cloud environments and their supporting
infrastructures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both users at all levels.

Experience with Agile methodology lifecycle

Build automation / CICD pipeline integration tools (Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Artifactory
desirable

Experience in AWS/Cloud technologies desirable
