Job Description:
Job Title: RN Critical Care Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30
PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Current and valid state RN License Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NIHSS, DCI/BVP Must-Have: 1. Minimum of one year as a staff
RN in an acute care hospital, critical care. 2. Critical Care RN
(CCRN) Certification preferred. 3. COVID vaccination/boosters
preferred. 4. MediTech EMR experience preferred. Description: The
Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient
care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within
the scope of practice. Directs and guides patient/family teaching
and activities of other nursing personnel. Maintains standards of
care in the ICU. Is directly responsible and accountable for the
care given to assigned patients. Communicates with the physician
about changes in the patient's clinical condition. Includes
hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal
results. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition
and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and
confidentiality.
